The Northern Oregon Coast is a diverse region rich with maritime history, surrounded by majestic coastal-range mountains and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The North Coast of Oregon, including Astoria through Lincoln City,contains long stretches of unbroken beach.
Astoria, located at the mouth of the Columbia River, is the northern-most city in the state. Just south of Astoria, Seaside and Cannon Beach offer terrific family vacation spots with tourist attractions, including Ecola State Park. One of Oregon’s northernmost parks, Ecola State Park wraps around Tillamook Head between Seaside and Cannon Beach, just off Highway 101.
Further down the coastline you will find Rockaway Beach and Pacific City, two smaller cities offering beautiful coastline with smaller crowds. The Northern Oregon Coast ends at Lincoln City, one of the largest cities on the Oregon Coast. This city has much to offer including amazing hotel options, two golf courses and the Chinook Winds Casino.
